He does not belong to any one country but to people of all cultures and walks of life worldwide. He is also very much a survivor, not only on screen but also in the hearts of moviegoers. The Bond series has consistently proven wrong those who claimed he would become out dated. In fact the post-cold war years have brought the series its biggest box-office grosses.
Most film series find it difficult to continue in the wake of a popular actor leaving a leading role.
